Are you just wiping down the counters when it comes to your health and wellness?
I know, I know, strange title right??
When I am pressed for time or not motivated to really deep clean my house, I find that I just wipe down the counters and feel like I have at least done something.
This something isn’t nothing. But it also means that sometime, not too far in the future, I will STILL have to do the deep cleaning.
I realize that this is how I approached my health for a very long time. I would get hyperfocused on diet or exercise and neglect all the other areas of my life that equally contribute to my overall wellness.
Not wanting to spend the time, money or energy trying to dig deeper and find what was really causing my health issues only made my brain fog, fatigue and GI issues worse.
Taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle doesn’t mean that you have to do the “deep cleaning” all at once. You can go 1 room at a time.
First tackle the bathroom(GI), then the bedroom(sleep), then the kitchen(nutrition), then maybe the guest room(relationships). Every one of these areas impacts the other.
Let’s say you have one room that is your absolute favorite(exercise or diet?). You love spending time there, you create a whole Pinterest board with decorating ideas, you devote ALL your spare time on “perfecting” it, eventually the dust from the other areas will spill over into it if you aren’t paying attention to ALL the rooms in your house.
Are you crushing it at the gym but not sleeping? How are those gainz bruh?
Are you eating “healthy” but work in a toxic environment? How is your digestion?
Deep cleaning=Deep Health
That’s my mission for myself and for YOU.
Every room in your house deserves to have a Pinterest board dedicated to it.
Let’s work together to do a deep dive into what’s holding you back from your optimal wellness.
