Learning a new language

 


My daughter is taking Spanish this summer so she can lighten her workload during the next school year. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, so can help her un poco(a little;), but anyone that has learned a new language understands that "if you don't use it you lose it".

Learning a new language takes 
  • patience
  • persistence
  • attention
  • focus
You are in effect building new neural networks in your brain as you learn something this complex and new.

So how does this relate to ANYTHING with health and wellness?

I am glad you asked

So many of us live on autopilot. We go about our normal daily routines and don't notice or even ignore the signs our bodies are giving us that something is out of balance.

Unwanted signs and symptoms like bloating, indigestion, skin breakouts, fatigue, brain fog, and joint pain are all simply our body trying to communicate with us. But we don't listen.

We cover up or mask the pain with NSAIDS, we treat the skin issues with steroid creams or antibiotics, we pop antacids or take laxatives to address gut issues and we keep pushing through because we don't have time or energy to address the root cause.

And to learn something new it takes:
  • patience
  • persistence
  • attention
  • focus

Does any of this sound familiar?

It's my mission to help you learn a new language. The language of your physiology. The body's language as it tries to get back into balance. Potentially the most impactful second language you can learn. 

As you move away from living on autopilot, taking the short-term quick fixes and move toward uncovering and addressing the root cause, you can finally start to HEAL. Deep healing that can only take place when you address what is causing the issue in the first place vs. putting a bandaid on that open wound.
